Useful Things to Pack - Part 1

I hope our packing list comes in useful for anyone thinking about what they need to take with them to the sunshine state...

1. Passport.
2. Airline Tickets.
3. Driving licences.
4. Travellers Cheques.
5. Dollars.
6. Sterling or Euros.
7. Travel Insurance, this is essential!
8. Address book or email addresses (to send post cards andemails to make your friends jealous).
9. Book/magazine or two for entertainment lazing by thepool.
10. A guide book is a great idea if you want to travelaround the area.
11. Pen and a pad are useful.
12. Calculator so you know you are getting a bargain!
13. Camcorder if you are lucky enough to own one.
14. Camera and film or cards for your digital camera. A goodstrong camera bag is useful, a waterproof one is even better. Disposablecameras are fantastic for kids.
15. Spare batteries for anything which requires them.
16. Watches and jewellery.
17. Make-up and perfume or aftershave
18. A pair of scissors or nail clippers (Put these in yourhold baggage as they will be confiscated if you take them in your handluggage)
19. Little bag or rucksack for use during the day. Aconcealed pouch for cash is a good idea.
20. Top tip is an umbrella as it can rain sometimes out ofthe blue.
21. Pain-killers or any other vital medication and ladies donot forget your pill.
22. Indigestion tablets, all that yummy food you are goingto indulge in!
23. A mini first aid kit. Easily purchased at the chemistand designed for travelling with the most essential items.
24. Chap Stick.
25. Tissues.
26. Wet wipes/wet loo roll.
27. Cotton wool and cotton buds.
28. Plasters.
29. Eye drops.
30. Insect repellent (just in case) or some antihistaminetablets. It is a good idea to start these before your holiday to build up yourresistance!
31. Small sewing kit, you never know when that button isgoing to pop off!!!
32. Toiletries just think about your daily routine, you getup……. Sponge, face cloth, squiggy, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner,toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss. Moisturisers, deodorant, shavingfoam, razor etc. that way you should remember everything!
33. Hair products, gel, wax, frizzeaze (hair has a mind ofits own in Florida) hairspray etc
34. Sun creams: different factors start high and graduallyreduce SPF. A waterproof one is a great idea. Don’t forget the after sunlotion.
