Manny's Chophouse

Florida Guide > Dining

If you’re looking for simple great food then Manny’s Chop house is a must. Situated south on highway 27. Just on the right hand side passed the junction for Southern Dunes and Wal-Mart.

Manny’s is a very popular family restaurant with the locals and also visitors. When you first arrive the waitress will introduce herself and also write her name on the table, leaving some crayons for the kids. The table cloth is paper and my two son’s had a great time drawling and writing with there grandfather. Not sure who enjoyed this the most! ! !

Our first mistake was that we all ordered a starter, not that we were disappointed with them. We just did not know that they bring out Manny’s famous Chop House salad. The waitress brings a very large bowl of salad, filled with iceberg lettuce, romaine, chopped eggs, cukes, cheese, tomatoes and a whole lot more. She then asks if you would like the salad tossed, which we all agreed was a great ideal. It was absolutely fabulous. We then had to eat our starter followed by our main course. We finished with a Manny’s Chocolate house slide which is served in a jumbo fish bowl. The boy’s eyes lit up when they saw this, but their faces changed when the waitress left six spoons. In the end they understood why as we all could not even finish it. We went three times on our last visit, but the boys would go every day.

As Manny’s is very popular arrive early or if you have to wait for a table, don’t worry as they have a bar. So you can have a drink while you wait. They have something for everyone on the menu. I can recommend the baked French onion soup and Filet Mignon and if you love blue cheese then don’t forget to add. They also serve fresh baked sweet yeast rolls, which you can see being baked in the oven.

I would also suggest that it may be a good ideal to ring before you decide to go.

The service is great and the food is very reasonable priced.
