The cheesecake factory strives for the best possible food and service and when you walk through the doors you know you are in for something special. Just for a little history :---
Few people have achieved in their lifetimes what the Overtons did….Oscar and Evelyn Overton realized their dream- to own a successful business. Evelyn was always known as an excellent cook and she created her own original cheesecake recipe, which everyone loved. By the late 1940’s, she opened a small cheesecake shop in Detroit……the rest is history. There are now many Cheesecake factories all over the USA.
We visited the one at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando. It is located on the ground floor and despite it’s name yes they do offer more than just cheesecake…..in fact they offer more than 200 menu selections including 50 delicious cheesecakes and deserts, there is truly something for everyone from appetizers, pizzas, pastas, seafood, salads, steaks, sandwiches , delicious specialty burgers and scrummy puddings.
They are open seven days a week serving lunch , dinner , late dinner, Sunday brunch, and fabulous deserts.
One of my favorite dishes is Steak Diane…medallions of beef steak covered with black pepper and a rich mushroom wine sauce served with mashed potatoes and slow grilled onions , delicious.
Also Cajun jambalaya pasta which is their most popular seafood dish and consists of Shrimp and chicken sautéed with onions tomatoes and peppers in a very spicy cajun sauce all on top of fresh linguini.
The portions are huge so you may not have enough room left for a desert but you could always choose one of the many absolutely amazing deserts and have it to take out….then you can always enjoy it later.
you may not even want a full blown meal and they have no objection to this at all so even if you just fancy a coffee and cheesecake or one of their other delicious deserts then you are more than welcome to do this…. I can thoroughly recommend the carrot cake But beware it is absolutely huge and we shared it it between us but it was the best carrot cake I have ever tasted absolute heaven scrummy, scrummy, scrummy.
It does get very busy here and so be prepared to queue for a table but please do not be put off by this as it is an experience not to be missed and one I will be doing again for sure.
