The location is perfect. As you drive into Cumbrian Lakes, along the palm lined entrance, and through the main gates, you'll immediately see a most beautiful resort, where every house is unique, and care has been given to every detail to make Cumbrian Lakes pleasing to the eye.

Built in harmony with the lakes and the surrounding conservation woodland, you'll see herons, eagles and other wildlife in their natural environment as Cumbrian Lakes gives you a feel for the real Florida.

Cumbrian Lakes is not just any resort. As well as the incredible vista that awaits you when you explore the walks, jogging or cycle paths of the resort, you will not be able to believe that such tranquility exists right in the centre of all the action that Orlando and Kissimmee have to offer.

Only 3-4 miles south of Highway 192, you are only 10 minutes from DisneyWorld, with Seaworld, Discovery Cove, Universal studios and Islands Of Adventure not much further away.

Highway 192 itself is bristling with bars, restaurants, attractions and shops as far as the eye can see, and as far as we've ever explored it. Old Town, with its 50's diners and vintage vehicle parades, is very close.

Cumbrian Lakes Resort is on Poinciana Boulevard, just south of Highway 192. You are only a short journey away from Orlando International Airport (20-25 mins)and have great access to Interstate 4, John Young Parkway and all the other major routes to Orlando's major attractions.

Our villa is in a secluded corner of the resort, overlooking the central lake. As you turn the corner you'll be impressed by the pleasing outlook of the property, the pastel colours, the lush sub-tropical landscaping, the eye-catching architecture.

When you enter our villa through the double doors, you'll walk into an open, spacious bright and modern home, which we have endeavoured to give a tropical feeling to throughout, so you know that you're in paradise.

Sumptuous sofas to sink into, cosy dining areas for both informal and more intimate dining atmospheres, superbly equipped kitchen and bright, inviting bedrooms.

The layout will excite you as you explore what surprises the villa has to offer.

You'll immediately want to explore the pool deck with its mediterranean style pool. The jacuzzi awaits you, and there's luxurious pool furniture for lounging and dining alfresco.

The downstairs master bedroom has its own private access to the pool deck so you don't have to disturb the rest of the house for that early morning dip.

The family room has a high ceiling so you can look down from the loft level gallery.

There's the balcony overlooking the central lake and the pool deck, where you can sit and have breakfast watching the early morning sun glinting on the ripples in the lake, as a distant fountain gently plays of the peaceful water.

And the large en-suite master bathroom with its own jacuzzi and enormous shower room.

For the kids, there's the loft area, with its cable TV, Playstation 2, board games and a selcetion of appropriate PS2 games and DVDs. Let them loose up there, whilst you chill out downstairs with a beer in the Family Room, where you also have cable TV and a DVD player.

We've tried to provide as much as we can so you don't need to worry about packing hairdryers, or hiring a high chair or cot - there's a hairdryer in each master bedroom and one cot and one high chair.

Want to phone home and tell everyone what a fabulous time you're having. Our phone is free for international calls and local area calls (excluding mobiles and internet)so there's no need for those pesky phone cards.
