Enjoy a holiday in our lovely new home on the classy High Grove resort.
'Sherwood Palms' offers you luxury accomodation in a peaceful setting but within easy reach of all the attractions of the Disneyworld area. It is also extremely handy for the Interstate west through to Tampa, Busch Gardens being about one & a half hours away and for the 'Beeline' east to Cape Kennedy and the serious excitement of the Space Centre...again about an hour and a half away!
Our lovely home offers you a spacious & comfortable living, or 'family' room with cable TV, DVD/VCR (and small DVD library). We also offer FREE use of a broadband internet connection This living area incorporates a double sofa bed. A large dining table and chairs provides a venue for the more formal family meals.
Our fully fitted kitchen provides you, we believe, with everything you could wish for should you choose to self-cater. You will find a large cooker/stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee-maker and electric can-opener. There is also a dishwasher and double sink with waste-disposal and rinse-spray attachment. We have also provided a portable HiFi system for CDs, cassettes or radio entertainment.
Also provided on the ground floor is a pool bathroom, giving access onto the pool deck and a large utility area with washer and dryer. You can also access the games room from here where you can enjoy pool/air-hockey and table football/foosball. We also keep the 2 strollers here for your vacation use.
The main access to the pool deck is from the family room. Our gorgeous pool area is brick-paved and screened (partially with Florida Glass for extra privacy) and holds a 26' pool and wonderful spa/jacuzzi. There are color-changing pool lights for after dark too! Imagine yourselves sitting amidst the bubbles with a large cold drink whilst the kids play happily in the pool! Bliss! You may require the pool heated for the winter months (Oct-March) and this is available at an extra cost. We have recently added an electric BBQ which can be used on the pool deck or outside.
Upstairs are four large bedrooms. The huge master bedroom has a king-size bed and a large walk-in closet plus ample drawer space. The 20" flat-screen TV/VCR/DVD is also connected to the cable system. The en-suite facilities include large bath/tub, separate shower cubicle and WC and twin basins. We also provide a hairdryer & tongs.
The second bedroom provides a queen-sized bed, armchair,even more ample drawer space and a large closet. There is also cable TV. This room enjoys its own access to the family bathroom.
The family bathroom, which also opens out onto the landing provides a bath and integral shower, WC and washbasin and another hairdryer.
The two remaining bedrooms are both twins, with plenty of closet and drawer space and are ideal for children or teenagers. The largest of the two has its own portable HiFi system for CDs/cassettes or radio entertainment.
Finally, for your piece of mind we have a monitored security system & safe fitted.
This lovely resort also offers its own clubhouse with Internet access, 50' swimming pool and spa, pool, fusball and gymnasium and a smart lounge with wide-screen TV plus a large assortment of board games. The Reception is manned for around 10 hours a day and staff keep a selection of information about local attractions and provide you with a booklet of useful information on arrival if requested. There is a shuttle-service to the parks which can be booked in advance.
