Located on the sought after and premier community of The Abbey At Westhaven, and overlooking a breathtaking vista of natural conservation and wetlands, Abbeydawn is a superior vacation home of charm and beauty.
This prestigious gated community has been sympathetically designed in order to afford you privacy and tranquillity, but has the added advantage of being just moments away from Florida’s most amazing theme parks, attractions, restaurants, championship golf courses and shops.
New for 2008 our guests can enjoy free high speed wireless internet access and an upgrade to our existing cable TV package with many new premium movie and sports channels. Also our guests will enjoy free and exclusive access to a brand new clubhouse and pool complex, just minutes walk from our villa, featuring amoungst other things a large pool and sun deck, two tennis courts and a volleyball court.
Our popular home has played host to hundreds of satisfied guests and repeat visitors, and in turn has earned the great distinction of being featured on two separate occasions on “I Want That House”, one of British television’s favourite TV shows, featuring luxury vacation homes around the world.

Pool, Deck & Spa
With an unrivalled south easterly view overlooking the natural flora and fauna of Florida’s heartland, our magnificently large pool deck and the crystal clear waters of our stunning oversized pool, will always feature highly in your list of magical vacation memories.
The abundance of wildlife, birds and butterflies that can be observed is quite simply breathtaking, and this natural ambiance of peace and tranquillity will instil in you a lasting inner calm as you relax and soak up the nectar of the sun’s golden rays.
Fully screened to keep out any troublesome bugs, you can lay back on a multitude of top quality loungers and chairs, or unwind in the warming bubbles of our decadent 6 foot spa and let the cares of the world drift away. An overly large shaded lanai area with large ceiling fan ensures there is a welcome respite from the gorgeous sunshine, and the weatherproof dining sets (seating up to 12 guests) provide the perfect setting for any al fresco meal.
For your convenience, a charming cabana style outdoor shower and pool bathroom with a separate hand basin and toilet completes this most indulgent of outdoor areas.
In accordance with Florida State Law, all doors leading to the pool and deck area are fitted with child alert pool alarms, in order to keep your children safe during their stay with us.
Lounge Areas
Lounge Room (Ground Floor)
From the moment that you step through the imposing front doors of Abbeydawn, you will be thrilled by the light and airy living space presented for your pleasure.
Tastefully tiled throughout to maintain a cool indoor temperature, the ground floor Lounge Room is bound to impress with it’s fine furnishings, attractive décor and striking double height cathedral style ceilings.
Featuring 2 comfortable sofas in a vibrant blue tones, glass topped coffee and end tables with decorative lamps to provide subtle mood lighting, a large screen remote control TV with a DVD / VCR combo unit and an upgraded / premium cable channel package and high speed wireless internet hub. You will find this room to be a true haven of relaxation at the end of a busy day.
Alternatively, why not enjoy your favourite cd’s or radio station on our fabulous stereo sound system, or tackle one of the many books, family games and puzzles provided for your enjoyment.
Loft Style Lounge (1st Floor)
Located on the first floor, our chic Loft Style Lounge affords a second great area in which to unwind and discuss the experiences of the day. The room is furnished with two deep padded sofas (one a sleeper sofa) in warm red tones, contemporary coffee table and side tables, decorative lamps and overhead ceiling fan.
But this room doesn’t stop with just the comfy furniture. Step through the sliding glass double doors onto our breathtaking open air balcony for a truly awe inspiring view across the back garden, past the pool to the incredible conservation and wetlands beyond. Truly unforgettable !
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
1st Master Suite
Located on the ground floor adjacent to the large Lounge Room, our colonial inspired furnishings in light wood set exactly the right tone for a peaceful nights sleep.
Also included for your enjoyment is a 20” cable TV, and your own private access to and from the pool deck outside, with it’s stunning conservation views.
The master bathroom suite is designed with tasteful practicality and features a large walk in shower, a separate garden tub (bath), his and hers sinks, hairdryer and w.c.
As with all of the bedrooms & bathrooms, a plentiful supply of top quality linens and towels are provided for your use.
2nd Master Suite
Located on the first floor, and accessed via it’s own private gallery landing, this magnificent room which occupies one side of the upper storey of Abbeydawn, benefits from a cool calming décor, quality furniture throughout and another stunning master bathroom suite featuring a cable TV, walk in closet and hairdryer.
Spongebob Themed Room
All children will delight in this charming Spongebob themed twin bedded room. Featuring two single beds, with Spongbob themed comforters, soft toys, cushions and decorative accents, it’s almost as if they have brought the magic home from the theme park with them !
And just to add to their further enjoyment, there is also a large screen cable TV with a DVD/VCR combo, and a brilliant Game Cube console to keep them safely occupied while mum and dad enjoy a little “down time”. In fact, we think you’ll find that getting them to go to bed has never been so easy !
Bedrooms 4 & 5
Our remaining two bedrooms are, as you would expect, furnished and decorated with luxury and comfort in mind. Each features two single beds, large wardrobe space, and additional drawer storage… so you will never run out of space to tuck away all those brilliant Florida souvenirs !
A further two full sized bathrooms, featuring stylish his and hers sinks, bath, shower and toilet are shared by bedrooms 4 & 5 and the Disney themed bedroom.
Cooking and Dining
Our delightful formal dining area located adjacent to the light and airy Lounge Room will comfortably seat up to 8 guests.
Close by, the top of the range open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, seating a further two, features all the great facilities and amenities you would expect in a home of such a high standard, and provides everything you need to create that perfect family meal.
Utility Room
For your added convenience we are delighted to provide a full size washing machine and tumble dryer to take care of all your laundry requirements.
