Once you drive on to the main access road leading to the 24hr manned security gates, with palm trees lining each side of the road, you begin to realise this is not just any resort. Hidden behind the old Splendid China just off the 192, Emerald Island is one of the closest resorts to Disney. A short 5 minute drive, and you are at the Disney kiosks to Animal Kingdom. Despite being so close to Disney, its location is quiet and you can enjoy the 'wetlands' to the full.

Our luxury 3 Bed 2.5 Bath Townhouse is one of only a few within the resort that enjoys a waterfront view. With a South facing aspect, you enjoy the sun all year round relaxing on the patio, or upper floor balcony, watching the hot air balloons drifting casually overhead across the lake and surrounding conservation area to the rear, with only the sound of the gas burners breaking the silence of the early morning.

If it's value for money, then look no further. Why pay more if all you are going to do is eat and sleep in the home, with your days occupied by the numerous theme parks? Why pay for pool heat, when you have the choice of two heated communal pools?

The home itself is fully air-conditioned, has a Queen master bedroom with shower en-suite; a Double 2nd bedroom and two single beds in the 3rd bedroom. A bathroom compliments the 2nd floor (1st floor to our UK guests!)

On the 1st floor (ground floor) we have extended the ceramic tile to the whole of the 1st floor adding to the Meditteranian feel the resort gives. A fully equipped kitchen is provided which includes a cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice-maker and dishwasher. All utensils are provided for your use, not forgetting the coffee maker, blender, large toaster etc., a dining area with table and chairs, and a lounge area, with the lounge area incorporating a Queen size sofa bed.

A half bathroom (WC and basin only) is also located at this level, together with a laundry room containing a washer and drier, and general household items.

Patio doors located on both levels lead you out on to the patio and balcony, with the balcony accessed from the master bedroom.

Ceiling fans are also provided for your comfort to the lounge area and all bedrooms.

All towels (including 8 pool towels) and bed linens are included.

High chair and travel cot provided AT NO EXTRA COST for our younger guests.

Remote cable TV is provided to the lounge area and all bedrooms. A DVD player and a Playstation 2 (complete with 2 controllers and 2 games)are provided for your enjoyment. For the more energetic, 2 tennis racquets (and 3 balls) are provided for you to enjoy the floodlit tennis courts located nearby. A number of outdoor games are also provided for our younger guests to enjoy both at the pool, or to the rear of our house.
